A Look at the Dark Side 10K and Half Marathon Courses

I love looking at the race courses! The Geek in me studies the courses and everything in between!
So let's get started!
This year's 10K is packed with excitement as you begin on World Drive and head toward Hollywood Studios! You will run down Hollywood Boulevard, past Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resorts and into Epcot where your journey in the Force will be complete!
You will be starting in the Magic Kingdom Mulan parking lot. The buses will drop you off in the Cruella Parking Lot and it's just a short walk over to the Ursula Lot to the staging area and security check. This Welcome Plaza is where you can leave your check-in bag and head over to the porta potties. From there, you will be guided into your corrals. And you will be off!
Note: a Water Stop is available after Mile 1 and there will be a few porta potties along World Drive. There is only 1 First Aid Station and will be located near Mile 3 before the On Ramp.
Note: You will have a water stop right before you enter at the Fantasmic Stage.
If you want to avoid the porta potties, now is the time to stop! There will be restrooms at Fantastic Stage and 2 sets along Sunset Boulevard. Stop if you need to because this will be the last chance for a nice restroom before Epcot!

Ah! You can not resist the Dark Side of the Force as it rules the 10K and half Marathon Courses this year! Both races should be awesome, and I can't wait to see the Characters along the way!

Begin Your Journey to the Dark Side... at the Magic Kingdom Parking Lot!
You will be starting in the Magic Kingdom Mulan parking lot. The buses will drop you off in the Cruella Parking Lot and it's just a short walk over to the Ursula Lot to the staging area and security check. This Welcome Plaza is where you can leave your check-in bag and head over to the porta potties. From there, you will be guided into your corrals. And you will be off!
The route from the Magic Kingdom Lot to Hollywood Studios is pretty flat along World Drive until you get to the on ramp onto Buena Vista Drive. The on ramp can be tough, so be prepared to walk! This trek will complete your first 3 miles.
Those of you familiar with the Princess Half will recognize this path of highway, and hopefully there will be entertainment along the Drive!
But the best is yet to come as you will be approaching Hollywood Studios! You will enter Hollywood at the Fantasmic Stage . Look, if you dare, as you pass The Tower of Terror and cruise on down Sunset Boulevard before heading on out through Hollywood Boulevard toward your last water stop of the race!
This is a quick short mile, so enjoy the view!
If you want to avoid the porta potties, now is the time to stop! There will be restrooms at Fantastic Stage and 2 sets along Sunset Boulevard. Stop if you need to because this will be the last chance for a nice restroom before Epcot!
This leg of the adventure will be quick as you dash past the Resorts leading into Epcot. You will enter Epcot near the United Kingdom and travel past Canada and the Future Worlds, through the Golf Ball and into the glory of finish line!
There will be some small transitions over bridges as you pass by the Resorts and into Epcot. Stay on the lookout for restrooms as you past Canada and on either side of the Ball.
