It's been just a few short weeks since I returned back from My Castle to Chateau Expedition! Now that I've finally gotten all my pictures uploaded, I'm slowly going through the many wonderful memories - reliving each spectacular moment in this adventure!
My FitBit is my constant companion on these treks, and I always love to do a FitBit report! So, of course, this trip wouldn't be any different!
I really extended past some limits this time - I was amazed at myself!
Wow! Can you believe I took over 230,000 steps, 99 miles and burned over 27,000 calories ?!
I should do this more often!
There were 4 big days over the trip and this is how they broke down:
September 21st : 25,669 Steps, Touring Paris
September 23rd: 25,138 Steps, Disneyland Paris Parks
September 24th: 25,066 Steps, 5K and Disneyland Paris Parks
September 25th: 55,684 Steps !!! Disneyland Paris Half Marathon and Disneyland Paris Parks
The Sunday of the Half was an astounding day! I earned 7 new Step Badges which pushed me over to the Platform Shoe Badge!
The difference for Sunday: I usually run the Half and catch a plane home; but, instead, I went back to both parks in Paris and closed them down with the evening Fireworks!
Also, over the few days in Paris, I earned 3 more Daily Climb Badges to achieve a LifeTime Climb Badge of over 4000 Floors!
A total of 12 badges and 3 Medals - so totally worth every step!
As with everyone, being on vacation and keeping to my fitness goals can be hard. I prepared for the trip by starting with the 21 Day Fix Review in August and then 21 Day Fix Reboot right before I left. The portion control and meal training has been the best part of this program. My stomach has shrunk, gone is the dependency on Diet Coke, I drink tons of water and I know what my portions should be. That is not to say that I didn't really enjoy myself on this trip!
There was wine and food and desserts and more wine!
However - It speaks to the program that I didn't gain any weight on the trip, and have lost 2 more pounds since I've been home!
The only misfortune to the trip, as the cover picture hinted to, my FitBit bit the dust!
There is always a silver lining, though, and this case, I purchased the new FitBit Alta with the Silver Bracelet accessory!
Absolutely love the bracelet for work or when I need to dress up!
Overall - I'd say that I had a very successful Fitness Week in Paris!
