The Inaugural Star Wars 5K!

I really love the runDisney 5Ks because these races aren't as serious as the other races in the
weekend:  just really a lot of fun!



All the races have the best runDisney Hosts!  and the 5K was no exception!

From Legos to Elvis Leia there was never a dull moment !  I enjoy seeing all the costumes!

 

Of Course, not everyone dressed up as their favorite Star Wars Character... can you guess who these are?

And there were Star Wars Characters all along the race!  I'll be honest, some of the lines were way too long, so I just picked two to grab pictures!

I saw the New Star Wars Rebels!

And the Jedi!

 It's also a lot of fun to see the parks at sunrise - completely different perspective!

I always try to find my costume double!  Endor Leias!

And I look for families!  Because to me, sharing the love of running with your family is what runDisney is all about!

Unfortunately, this fun-packed race is just 3 miles - it was over too soon!
 

Stormtroopers were at the finish line telling us to "move along, move along"!

It was a great ending to the start of a great race weekend!
