Princess Half Marathon Weekend: Royal Family 5K 2014!
With an early morning wake up call and four friends in tow, I headed to the Royal Family 5K at Epcot! This was Kathy, Margaux, Heather and Jennifer's first runDisney race and my First Royal Family 5K; and we were all very excited! Kathy and Heather were in pretty Princess Tutu's, Margaux and Jennifer had made "1st Royal Family 5K" t-shirts and I came as Nerd Minnie. We were ready to go! Enjoy our photo blog!

With Fireworks and Fanfare we started the 5K!

Kathy, Margaux and I had trained for the Half Marathon together, and we were enjoying the peace and beauty of Epcot before our big race!

Kathy and I met a family running in memory of their loved one Jordan,
killed in Afghanistan. Talking to them brought tears to our eyes.

Spending the morning at The Royal Family 5K was all that we expected and more! We truly loved every minute of our run through Epcot !

The Race was over, but we had appetites waiting on us! We finished our Royal Morning with Breakfast at Cinderella's Castle!
